Greenville, S.C. - The Furman men's basketball team continues its four-game road trip on Sunday against Atlantic-10 Conference member Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa., at the A.J. Palumbo Center. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

The Paladins claimed an 83-78 overtime victory over the Dukes in Albany, N.Y., on December 12, 1998, in the only previous meeting between the schools. Forward Stanislav Makshantsev netted a game-high 23 points, including tying a Furman record with a 14-for-14 effort at the foul line, to lead the Paladins to the win.

Furman enters Sunday's game at 1-1 after dropping a 75-64 decision at Charleston Southern on Monday evening. Jordan Miller led the Paladins in scoring for the second straight outing with 16 points while Alex Opacic added 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Duquesne, under the direction of third-year head coach Ron Everhart, improved to 2-0 with a victory at St. Francis (Pa.) on Thursday. The Dukes opened the season with a home victory over the High Point Panthers.

Following Sunday's clash in Pittsburgh, Furman travels to Hanover, N.H., to face the Dartmouth Big Green on Tuesday evening.
