MAY 17, 2008 - Two members of the Furman men's track and field team competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday.

Junior Alex Plasencia finished tenth in the men's 5,000 meter event, with a time of 15:17.50. Junior Patrick Morgan was unable to finish the 1500 meter event due to illness.

Morgan will continue competition on May 31 at the NCAA Regional meet hosted by Florida State University.
